Cancel the Devil’s Invitation
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV
Every day, invitations show up in your life. Some are sent from God, leading you to purpose, joy, and peace. Others are sent by the enemy, trying to pull you into temptation, regret, and destruction. You cannot accept both. You must make a decision.
Think about how relentless the enemy is. He will send you invitation after invitation. Sometimes it comes through peer pressure. Sometimes it comes through the culture around you, telling you that everyone is doing it. Sometimes it comes through hidden lies that sound appealing but lead to emptiness. Those are Hell’s invitations. They look exciting at first, but they always lead to disappointment.
God is sending you a better invitation. He is calling you to life. He is offering you doors of opportunity you cannot even imagine.
God is inviting you to freedom, to purpose, and to a destiny that will not just bless you but also bless your children and grandchildren.
When you choose Him, you are choosing life that multiplies into future generations.
You cannot stay undecided. Ignoring God’s invitation is the same as choosing the enemy’s. That is why you must cancel Hell’s emails and delete the Devil’s party invitations. You cannot afford to keep them in your inbox. You have to tear them up, throw them out, and say, “I choose life. I choose wisdom. I choose Jesus.”
And here is the encouraging part. God is moving in this generation in ways that cannot be denied. You may feel the pull of temptation, but deep down you also feel the tug of truth. The Spirit of God is at work in young people everywhere, opening their eyes to what is fake and what is real. When you choose Him, you step into what is lasting, eternal, and powerful.
So today, take the invitation the enemy has sent you and cancel it. Delete it. Refuse it. Then RSVP to the life that God has placed before you.
Prayer: Lord, I cancel every invitation the enemy has tried to send me. I refuse the empty promises of sin. I choose life, I choose wisdom, and I choose You. Open the doors of opportunity You have prepared for me, and help me walk in the purpose You designed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
